C.A.R.E.
Collect and Redistribute Excess (C.A.R.E.) uses school-based community fridges to redistribute uneaten, packaged food, to reduce waste and feed hungry minds and bodies.
“I think that food waste will decrease as more people know about their other options besides throwing out food but I wonder if my data will be enforced and food waste will truly decrease. Some rules just arnt followed by people, some think “I wont make a difference.” But the truth is thy can. If they reduce waste and are given healthier/higher quality foods, waste will be reduced and repurposed.”

Education
Feeding Philly uses evidence-based activism and mutual aid to empower students as food justice activists who analyze school food waste and its impact on environmental and social systems.

Gardens
We cultivate fresh produce for the community, promoting food security and hands-on opportunities. We have seeded community gardens and are breaking ground on a hydroponic system!

Distributions
Distributions are dedicated to fighting food waste by offering food sponsored by Sharing Excess with compassion and connection. We strive to create a sustainable network that supports all of our communities.
