As an organization, Feeding Philly dedicates our time to numerous projects and events to promote food security in our local Ogontz neighborhood and the greater area of Philadelphia. 

 

Each month, we host a free food distribution in North Philadelphia in which we re-purpose fresh produce to serve our local community. As of March 17th, 2023, we have additionally functioned as a chapter of the non-profit organization Sharing Excess, which shares our goal of fighting food waste and insecurity. Sharing Excess provides fresh produce for each of our events. As of July 2023, we have served over 1,500 families and plan to provide for many more!
